Arts festival - May bank holiday weekend
Each spring, the Ellesmere Arts Festival celebrates the creativity, talent and imagination that thrive throughout our community. Over several days, visitors can enjoy live music, art exhibitions, workshops, performances, family activities and cultural experiences in venues across the town, creating a vibrant festival atmosphere that inspires, entertains and brings people together.

Regatta - July
Held on the beautiful waters of The Mere, the Bell Boat Regatta is one of Ellesmere's most unique and entertaining annual events. Teams of all ages take to the water in colourful dragon-style bell boats, creating a fun-filled day of friendly competition, community spirit and lakeside excitement.

Ellesmere Carnival - 22nd August
A highlight of the summer calendar, Ellesmere Carnival brings colour, creativity and community spirit to the streets of the town. Featuring the much-loved carnival procession, imaginative floats, live entertainment, family activities and plenty of fun for all ages, it's a fantastic day that showcases the heart and character of Ellesmere while bringing residents and visitors together in celebration.

winter festival - Fri 27th November
As the festive season approaches, Ellesmere comes alive with its much-loved Winter Festival. Featuring Santa's arrival by barge, magical lights, live entertainment, festive markets, family activities and a spectacular lantern parade through the town, it's a truly special celebration that brings the whole community together and welcomes thousands of visitors each year.
